Hometown Veterinary Hospital
is pleased to now offer top quality dog and cat boarding. When admitting your pet for boarding, please plan on 10-15 minutes to review contact information, sign consent forms, and to obtain any needed medical/grooming procedures.

Boarding pets can be admitted and checked out Monday-Friday any time during business hours. There are no weekend pick-up times. Boarding is charged per night.

Required Vaccinations and Pet Health

All boarding patients must be up to date on the following vaccines:
Dogs: Rabies, DHPP, Bordetella
Cats: Rabies, FVRCP

If vaccines are needed we can update them when they come in for boarding.

All boarding pets will be evaluated at admission for fleas/ticks and will be treated at the owner’s expense if parasites are found.

Bring Your Pet's Food and Toys

We do ask that you bring in your pet’s own food for their stay to avoid g.i. upset. Otherwise, your pet will be fed Science Diet Sensitive Stomach and will be charged an additional $2.00 per day.

If your pet is on daily/weekly medications please bring them in the original container with the original label. If a refill is needed, we will refill at our normal prices.

Other belongings, such as bedding, toys, treats, etc. may be brought in with the pet, however they should all be properly labeled.

We understand that sometimes circumstances cause you to have to cancel your boarding appointment. If possible please allow 24-48 hours for cancellations. No-show boarding appointments may incur boarding charges.

If you have any questions about our boarding service please feel free to call our office, 883-7297.
